Cricket recount
27/10/17
A bad start
It was very challenging having to play cricket on the courts on a very hot day with room 5 and Sahl.
I got to the courts thinking what it would be like since that was going to be my first time.
While I was thinking I bumped into something and tripped. Tripping over a cricket ball was not what I expected. The game hadn't even started and I was already having a bad start.
I got up from the surface and saw my sweat drying up as I thought it was my blood. "Ew, just disgusting", I wiped my wet forehead. "Bahahahahaha" I laughed as I noticed it wasn't blood.
Sahl walked in the courts seeing room 5 going wild like hungry gorillas. I laughed my head off.
"Room 5, stop this right now!!" Mrs Middleton shouted. I watched some of the girls laughing because I got scared. I rolled my eyes and giggled a little.
My day has already been ruined and we didn't even start the game like I said.
I didn't want to play anymore. What a disaster I thought. I never want to experience a day like this again. I felt annoyed. Hopefully next time this won't happen.

I am testing how quickly I can remember my Basic Facts.
I need to remember my Basic Facts because they are the knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths problems.
~Tuesday
On Tuesday my result for Prototec was 32/40 and today my result was 31/40. I got 1 lower than Tuesday. The area that I do not know properly is the Fractions and Percentages. Mostly percentages. I'll try my best next time to get a higher result for fractions and percentages.

~Tuesday
On Tuesday my result for typing was 78 WPM and today my result was 82 WPM. I have gotten a higher result because I have been practising my typing at home.

What the story was about.
Amy's mom and dad did not believe her that Slappy (Dummy) was alive and also evil. Amy wanted to prove it with her sister Sara. At night Slappy walked in to Sara's room with Amy following him. Sara was awake, and their parents were hiding in Sara's closet to see if they were telling the truth about Slappy. Dennis struck a big slap across Slappy as Amy's parents came out of the closet.

I have learnt what a 3-D Shape is. A 3-D shape is basically a three dimensional shape. A 2-D shape is flat and a 3-D shape is vertical. I have also learnt what the names of the parts are on the shape. There is vertices/vertex, edges, face.
2-D Shape Activity
I have learnt different names for different shapes. I have also learnt how to select a shape remembering what the keywords in the question is. I have also learnt to organise shapes into its right box.

Amy's dad came bursting into the house with excitement. he was like this because he had a mysterious present for Amy. Once her dad stood next to her with the box she knew of course that it was the one and only new dummy. She was very excited to use the dummy because she was performing at a birthday party. She practised in front of her family and when she was doing it the dummy suddenly did something very mysterious that only Amy knew what was happening, her family didn't believe her that the dummy was doing that.

Sara is her older sister which is very talented because of her art. Jed, her brother which is the silly one who always jokes around. Amy hates family sharing nights and thought of changing the name to Thursday family fighting night!

Tamera found out about the long lost treasure that Annabel had planned for James to go and find but didn't go well. Tamera really wanted to go and find the treasure and she told the Thea Sisters but they disagreed and also Chris disagreed. Tamera started to cry and ran away to go and find the treasure. The next day The Thea Stiltons found out that Tamera actually went and got missed. They went to try and find her and asked many people. Someone said that another person tried to find her and join her trip. The Thea Stiltons got really scared and carried their mission on to find her.

On Monday my result for typing test was 82 WPM and today my result was 89 WPM. I have gotten a higher result than before because I have been practising my typing skills throughout this holiday break. I will try my hardest to get higher results to finish my unfinished work.
