On your blog, list three different ideas or strategies for raising funds to preserve the
Great Barrier Reef. What could you do to fundraise here in New Zealand?

*Do garage sales and sell everything in good state that I don't need
*Lemonade stands on summer
*Ask family for money by doing chores , mowing peoples lawns and taking
other peoples pets for walks when they are busy to earn more money , save up
and send it to Australia

Use Google to help you find two other polluted rivers in New Zealand.

On your blog, tell us:
1) The names of the rivers. 2) The location of the rivers. 3) What is being done to clean up the rivers (if anything).

Manawatu River
Located in Manawatu-Wanganui
•    Reduce bacteria in the river
•    Prevent overallocation of river water
•  Protect habitats for native birds and fish and enable movement between these areas.

What do you think about this rule? Is it fair that people are charged up to $100 000 for overfishing?
On your blog, tell us what you think about this rule and why you think it!
Yes I think they should be charged but I don't think they should be charged that much. They should just be charged just $500 because that is enough.
They should be charged because they are killing fish which is God's creation and shouldn't be treated with disrespect. Also because the place is private so they shouldn't be doing it anyways.

On your blog, write a short story about what you think is happening in the picture. Be sure to tell us where you think the people are and what you think they were doing at the time that they stopped to pose for the selfie. To earn full points, the story must be 8 – 10 sentences long.

A young adult is taking a photo on top of a tall building
where you can see the ocean and a lot of other buildings basically |the view|.
I don't have any place in mind of where I think she is.
I think she fell in love with the view that she just had to stop to take a photo.
You can see a lot of yellow and red buildings. The clear sky with no clouds.
The dark green / blue ocean.
She doesn't look scared but also is trying to get a good angle while trying not to fall of the building.
She is on the edge of the building which makes the photo look more interesting.
The green bushes and tress , also the huge bridge. She must have gotten a very good photo to treasure in her phone.

On your blog, give us a list of three to five options for the name of this geothermal pool. Put a star (*) beside the name that you like the most.
Green lava pool |It is hot|
*Pool of smelly green wonders |The pool is not clear so you might wonder whats in it|

Let’s imagine that you had the chance to visit Milford Sound by boat, foot (walking) or air (helicopter). Which option would you prefer?
On your blog tell us which of the three options you would take to explore Milford Sound. Be sure to tell us why you have chosen this option.
If I had the chance to visit Milfor Sound I would choose to be in a helicopter because
I can see the beautiful view from up high and it's more exciting.

On your blog, tell us how you will solve this maths problem. You can write your answer in words, use a Sketchpad image or post a video explaining how you would figure it out. Be sure to give us your final answer. .
Adult can lift 25kgs,
25x4 = 100kgs, 25x8 = 200kgs. + or double to make it 400kgs with 16 audlts,
Add 4 to make 100 more kgs.
The equation is like this now
25x20 = 500kgs

Adults and children
10 Adults and Children ,
10x25kg = 250kgs, 10x15kgs 150kgs. 250kgs+150kgs = 400kgs.
Add 4 more adults(25kgs) to make another hundred
The total is

14 Adults
10 Children

  12. When yeast is ready add mixture to a large bowl.
  13. Stir in flour, salt, remaining sugar, oil, Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese.
  14. When dough forms, place dough on a lightly floured surface and kneed gently with oiled hands.

On your blog, post a description of life in New Zealand in 2018. Please remember that the people who read your post will have never been to New Zealand or even seen a picture so it is your job to ‘paint a picture’ of New Zealand using your words. You can also post pictures, if you wish. Be sure to fully attribute the pictures.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Zealand will be sinking into the ocean next week , 2018 in New Zealand has been a awesome time. I have visited many places like Auckland and Places in Tamaki.

My favorite things about New Zealand is the restaurans and shops, like Mac Donald's , KFC and burger king.

I will miss the beautiful fresh air and bright oceans of New Zealand , also the beautiful plants.

If only New Zealand wouldn't sink in the ocean. This is the last week I will be in New Zealand and I want to make the best out of it by spending time outside in the beautiful nature.

On your blog, write a letter to your best friend or a family member telling them about your trip to the tundra. To earn full points your letter must have a greeting (eg. Dear…) followed by 5 – 6 sentences of information about what your experience.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Bestfriend ,
I think my trip to the tundra was very interesting ,
Even though it was super freezing cold ,
I saw polar bears for the first time ever ,
I even saw shrubs , herbs and lichens ,
It was an amazing experience ,
The time I was there it was approxitemately 60 degrees ,
I was very cold ,
Although I really enjoyed seeing those various animals and also the beautiful plants that grew along.
I hope next time I get to go to the tundra with you!

On your blog tell us whether you think logging should be allowed in New Zealand. Be sure to provide at least two reasons to support your argument.
I don't think loggers should be cutting down trees

First reason:
They shouldn't cut trees because trees give us oxygen and fresh air for us to breathe

Second reason:
They shouldn't cut trees because trees are God's creation and shouldn't be treated like that.

Activity 3: Salt and Pepper [5 + 5 possible bonus points]
Deep in the heart of Bolivia (a country in South America) lies a natural wonder unlike anything else. It is a massive area of salt, over 10 000 km2 large, that is referred to as the Uyuni Salt Flats.
Tourists who visit the flats often stay in hotels made completely out of salt (salt hotels). This is not the only unique hotel that you will find around the world. In fact, you can stay in hotels made entirely of ice (ice hotels) or glass (glass hotel). Let’s imagine that you were given enough money to build your very own hotel.
On your blog tell us where you would build your hotel and what you would use to build it. For an extra five points, use Google Drawings to design one room in your hotel. You can also use a paper and pencil to draw your room, take a picture of the drawing, and post it on your blog.
I would want my hotel in America and I would use ice blocks from the Torne river.

Activity 2: Pancakes and Maple Syrup? [4 points]
Aotearoa New Zealand is home to many spectacular sights and natural wonders. One of these is the Punakaiki Rocks and Blowholes located on the West Coast of the South Island. The Punakaiki rocks attract tourists from all over the world who are keen to see these amazing rock formations. Many people think that they look like pancakes stacked on top of one another. Pancakes are one of my favourite foods! They are delicious and pretty easy to make.
For this activity you are asked to choose one of your favourite foods. On your blog, write the name of your favourite food and then tell us how to make it. You may need to ask a family member, friend or Google (!) for help, if you do not normally make this food for yourself.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My favourite food is :
Maccaroni and cheese.

How to make it:
1. Cook the macaroni to packet directions.
2. While the macaroni is cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan. Remove from the heat and mix in the flour until smooth. Return to the heat and cook stirring until the mixture is frothy. Mix in the mustard. Remove from the heat and mix in a little milk at a time, stirring after each addition until smooth. Return to the heat and cook until the sauce boils and thickens. Mix in the salt and cheese.
3. Drain pasta well, shaking the macaroni to remove as much water as possible Spoon into a serving dish and grill until lightly golden.
