The importance of being in a Catholic school.

Are Catholic Schools important?

I know it is! Catholic schools are very important ,
so are other schools but we have different aspects of how we do our learning.

Firstly ,

In a Catholic School our Faith is being nurtured. We pray and do  R.E.
An example of how we nurture our Faith is by praying every morning and end of the day ,
(traditional prayers , spontaneous prayers and lectio divina). We have Soul Friends
- this is because the older students become role models to the younger students and teach them
to become future leaders while striving our best to become one as well.
We celebrate special occasions related to Jesus. (such as - Lent - Easter - Christmas - & more) ,
in all of these special occasions we sing , pray and read scriptures / verses from the bible which is
all about the event.

Secondly ,

We have opportunities to be in good schools - (Catholic Schools) ,
schools teach us to be independent.
When they teach us they push us until we try our best in everything we do & reach our goals.
We are surrounded by like minded people and learn from them.

Thirdly ,

It helps develop us to be good citizens of this world.
Since we are a Catholic School we practise the virtues - our focus is (Faith , Hope & Love) ,
these 3 virtues are what we need before practising other virtues to become followers of Jesus.
To have strong faith in what we believe , to hope and to love one another.
Catholic Schools help us grow in virtue to become good leaders in the future.

Lastly ,

Our Faith is being nurtured ,
we have big opportunities & also are helped to be good citizens of this world!.

Now I believe we can all say that Catholic Schools are important!!!
